13.1 miles

Some of you might not know but I am a little crazy and I like to run marathons and half marathons. So this past weekend a group of about 5 of my friends headed down to San Antonio to run the 1st Rock N Roll half marathon held in San Antonio. My mom went as our cheerleader along the race course, which is a really important role for those of you who have never run in a race like this before it is always nice to have someone cheering you on along the race. We all finished the race, and most of us finished somewhere close to our goal times if not under our goal times.

And the crazy thing is that I am running another half on Dec 14th, so less than a month after I completed San Antonio. I have never run any two races this close together - so the real test will be if I can cross the finish line at White Rock.
